What will this child be?
Today's gospel is from Luke Chapter 1, verse 57-66. It is the story of John the Baptist's birth. All were amazed when Elizabeth declared, "his name will not be Zechariah, he will be called JOHN." They were even more amazed when Zechariah, wrote his agreement on a tablet. All who heard stored these things up in their hearts, saying, "What will this child be?"
I have been pondering my new grandson, Felix.....what will this child be? Doctor, Lawyer, president.....
Felix was born one week before Christmas, an early present from God. A little bundle of joy, perfect in every way. His name means happy. I know he will bring joy to everyone he meets. I love just saying his name, Felix, Felix, Felix. He gives me such great joy. I know he will grow up to be a man of character, just like his own dad. I am so proud of my son and the man he has become.

Felix Rockwell Hesson
December 18th, my first grandson entered the world! I am so happy and excited. My son Rodney and his wife Helen will be the best parents ever. My heart is very full. I hope to visit, the little family in March.
